One to One Therapy
Welcome. Whatever has brought you here I offer a safe, confidential space for you to speak freely and be listened to fully. Deciding to seek help and recognising that something is not working in your life takes courage and awareness. As a psychotherapist I am here to help you find a way through what you are struggling with, so that you can live in a way that feels right for you.
My approach is holistic so I think about the whole person, taking into consideration a plethora of things that may be impacting you and your experience of the world. I am interested in your hopes and dreams and what you feel is missing in your life. How you experience your relationships and make sense of the things that have happened to you.
I think therapy is not just about understanding the why but also thinking about how things might change. To read more about my approach click here.
Therapy can be targeted and direct at times and sometimes more free form, in that when we work at depth there are often changes happening through the work that are not always immediately apparent.
We may start with an initial assessment period (usually of 6 weeks) so that we can reflect together on how things are going and formulate an approach that works for you.
I work both short and long term with people and offer a free initial 20 minute consultation so that you can ask questions and get a sense of what working with me may be like. I have a therapy room in Canterbury and also work online via Zoom.
My fee for individual psychotherapy is sliding scale £70.00 to £90.00 an hour I do offer concessions occasionally and payment plans for people who want longer term therapy. If you have questions please get in touch and we can have a conversation.
